Because I like to think people like to know about my future projects and current situation
First of all, school. I'm practically a week away to finish with this school semester, just gotta deliver the last projects and do the last exams and I'll be free for two weeks, until next semester. During these weeks I'll go on a vacation to Europe, more specifically to Italy regions. I don't quite remember the places since my parents were the ones organizing the travel, I expect to make some news post during those weeks to share about the things I see during my travel.
Boxanne 2
I started making this game a while ago, and I even had already written a story for it, however, I had to re-write it because, with further analisys I determined that was not the kind of story for Boxanne, and had to change various things. Fortunately, the changes didn't affect the game's technical progress, so things should keep moving smoothly, I wonder if I can make big improvements this week to share any WIP or something. I've also made some music for it, been having lots of inspiration for the music lately. Meanwhile, have Boxanne's sprite :))
Kinbari series
The bizarre blue fairy has been quite "asleep" for a while. I've been interested for a long while about exploring Kinbari's past, but my main issue has been which media use to do so: So far, I've been exploring Kinbari's lore through the art I've done of her, but I wonder if it would be better to do a comic, an animation or even a game to go further. Although I haven't done none, I also know a bit of animation, so I can explore that area too, however I already have an interesting game idea for Kinbari which, either with or without lore would be interesting to make (it would be considered after finishing Boxanne 2 obviously), but comics would be way easier to do than the others (although I have certain doubts with the comic format), if you have any opinions on this theme, let me know in the comments.
Nora's future
Although not as popular as Boxanne or Kinbari, Nora B. Amsterdam has been one of my concurring chars lately. My main issue with Nora currently is most of her stories tend to be either M or A rated, I don't have an issue with these stories being mature, however, I tend to draw based in whatever I feel like in a given moment, so these mature stories usually come when i'm feeling "horny enough" (I know that sounds awkward). It's possible that in the future I start exploring other possibilities with Nora, such as her pianist side, or maybe more of her life as an actress through comics, although I'm not sure how much more will I be able to take advantage of Nora's role before "letting her go", guess only time will decide.
Nitainaga Island
In case you didn't see it when it came out, I shared a game some time ago, called Nitainaga Island, and is right here:
I started making it as an experiment: I wanted to simulate the style of an NES game, with all the complexities that implies. The success of the game in terms of statistics was moderated, and I didn't think a lot on it after I finished it, however, I've gotten lots of new ideas in the past months to start taking advantage of Nitainaga Island's world. With that said, I'm not planning on making some kind of complex lore story or having huge development on story elements; my ideas are mainly focused on game experiments that can take advantage of this game's elements. It will certainly take a while for you to start seeing these ideas flourish, but I believe it's good to make this smol update just to let ya know what will I be up to in the upcoming months.
New projects?
Before I came to Newgrounds, I already had big amounts of chars I made from my childhood to my adulthood. Practically all of these chars eventually died due to the shift of my interests in other areas, but in the last days I've been returning to these older ideas to see if there's anything I can rescue for interesting experiments in the future. So far I have a smol list of candidates, and if any of them gets my "quality seal", you may see something new in the upcoming weeks (probably a drawing).
Let's call it a day for now
This post became larger than I wished it to be, but I guess updates aren't always that small (specially when you experiment a lot like me). If you have something to share about what I said here or you just feel like shitposting, feel free to tell it to me in the comments. Honestly, after the Toybox Collab success, my account has seen a smol (but valuable) growth, and that makes me feel more than satisfied for now. I'm going to sleep, but before that, as always, I wish you to have a happy week, month, year, and century!
-Sweet dreams and exciting nightmares, Emiliano :))
