That is a really good analogy of love, I never thought of it that way!
I think the idea of love being rigid is the same way as how everything is labelled - named in order to make sense. This can be the same sense as how queerness can also relate to water: it is a force that has no solid shape and still breaks through barriers.
Perhaps our human nature is best left untouched, and only there to be felt.
