I always love pixel animations that look this fluent. Makes me wonder how would'a have looked games from the NES or even SNES like

The best part about pixel art in older consoles is how it worked around the limitations of hardware storage. That's why some characters or even Environments and Items are essentially palette swaps of existing ones. I'm not as familiar with the SNES since I didn't grow up with it but I did grow up with the Famicom and its was really fun. I think it all depends on who created the game from time to time in the US there were often more limitations that made developers focus on more playable gameplay rather than high-quality graphics Unlike Japan that has some good hardware cartridge, some companies prioritized graphics because it's more a selling but they still going to cut it because of memory limitation.
