I've finally finished this semester, and I have vacations for the next two months. That doesn't mean I'll publish more frequently, since i'll have to go search for a job meanwhile, but i'll try to be more active anyways. As some of u may have already noticed from previous posts, i'm making a new Boxanne game, this one however is a spin-off, not a sequel, later I will get in more detail with that. I'm also making various experiments for some cool future ideas, and of course there are projects I already talked about before in this previous post.

Why am I making this smol post? well, aside from keeping my account updated, I'm also in kind of an experiment. As I stated before, this vacations I will have to search for a job, not because I have the needs or doubts or any current interest in buying things, just my parents don't want me stay in home doing nothing (of course i'm doing things as stated by all my projects but u get the idea, and hey, who can blame them for thinking that way?). I talked to them and they basically told me I could do anything I wanted as long as that meant I would gain money in any way. This is were YOU enter.

I'm considering opening a Patreon or something similar to support the upcoming projects, even some really ambitious projects that might involve jams or future community interactions. Of course, that also means current projects will be worked on faster, since any type of support = more motivation for me to cook epic things. Now, I feel very bad for asking ppl to give me money (I want to threat my NG account in a personal way, and I don't want to state I need ppl money to make awesome things), but if instead of searching for an annoying work of 8 hrs. during 6 days a week doing something i'm probably gonna end hating, I can ask for a small support from the community and keep doing what I like most, even if that means getting objectively less money than a real work, I prefer going ahead with that, at least for a while.

It's worth noting I'll make sure that your support goes farther than just making me work faster in cool things. Sharing drafts of projects is one of the things i'm thinking of, and maybe adding the nicks of ppl who support me in future games credits. If you have anything you want to share or ask, do it without shame, be it in this post or through a pm, and let me know what you think about all of this. So, I recovered a small story of my past experiences as a younger programmer and decided I want to share it, for any other young programmers out there that want to learn a bit and be more careful with what they do.

So, y'all know about the MODE 7? If not, i'll explain you quickly. MODE 7 is a graphic mode the Super Nintendo (SNES) used to illustrate backgrounds that could rotate and scale. It became known because these characteristics along other maths allowed to make a 3d plane, which you can see in games like Super Mario Kart or F-Zero.

A younger myself who wanted to make cool 3d graphics on it's own tried to replicate this MODE 7 effect. The problem is, when I was younger I didn't have the level of math knowledge I have nowadays, and thus, decided to recreate that 3D effect the only way I knew how to do: read 1 pixel of a pic, and paste it to the screen in an adapted perspective calculated with some divisions, trigonometrical functions and other nerdy things. I learned through the hard way that this was an inefficient way of doing that, why? because after compiling the code, my computer's screen quickly froze and turned black.

I instantly hit Alt + F4 in the hopes that the computer didn't explode, and fortunately it didn't, but I did get a warning from part of my computer that the graphic card suffered a problem. I cannot remember the exact error that came, but the point is that the computer warned me that something almost damaged the graphic card. If you ever want to create something, don't just take the "easy path" right away, first inform a bit so you REALLY know what you're doing, and after that, go ahead and flow with it, or else your PC might explode right in front of you.

No, i'm not asking for anyone to do me a banner (but if you want to, I won't be the one to bum your interests :u), I actually want any possible ideas of what to do. I feel my account needs a small face wash or something. In the meantime, I'll keep working my things behind curtains :)

The upcoming weeks are gonna be helish in school, but fortunately, in June start my summer vacations, so I'm gonna give all my energies in making sure I pass my asignatures. This obviously means I won't be as active as I would like during next weeks, unless I happen to finish my homeworks early (i hate homework)

This morning I made a news post happily announcing that the Earth Day Collab got 1st on P-Bot's daily picks, which was already a great achievement to me. Well, thanks to @ElRandomGMD pm, I found out it also got picked by the Review Crew and also got 4th place in Weekly Picks

When I made this collab, I didn't think a collab could be that successful. People in Newgrounds must really love earth and nature, I can't find any other reason this got that far

Sadly, I will have to delay some game projects I was working on, the reason? the USB where I stored these got a virus after connecting it to one of school's computers , and I don't want to risk my current computer and lose every project I have (or any form of way to work in these projects). In the meantime, I'll try to be more active in the Art Portal and the Audio Portal
