I finished my vacations in México City, and i'm finally back to my beloved León in Guanajuato, as well as to Newgrounds in absolute presence. It was a pleasant travel, the city is way bigger than I imagined, and is full of many trees all around the place. It's temperature is also much less hot than in León, which kinda helped when walking around during midday.
I took many photos during my trip, some just to share and some more artistic looking photos (which I'm sharing in a separate post). Also, apparently my mom accidentally stole a spoon from a restaurant, guess that counts as a souvenir (???). The city is also really full of foreign people: United statians, asiatic people, english people (from what I could see in some data, even lots of haitians and people from hispanic-america).

If you've noticed, even though I can make "good" music, I don't publish a lot compared to everything else. In my almost 7 months of life, I've only shared 7 tracks (1 per month on average practically). There's a reason for that. Even thought I can make music since I have the knowledge and resources, I tend to face a feeling of futility as if in a given point I couldn't go further to finish a track. It's not my only problem, of course, but it tends to be the most common.
But not anymore! I've realized the reason might be that I usually tend to exhaust myself when making music. After hours and hours of hearing the same sounds and melodies, my brain begins to feel tired, and I tend to misunderstand that feeling as if I was just lacking real ability to make music, and I demotivate myself, reason why I never finish anything music related. Now that I know about it, my work flow for making music might be more fluent, which is great.
I want to see if I can begin to post music more regularly. At the moment, consider "regularly" as at least two songs per month. Even if I don't face demotivation anymore, my skill is still pretty behind compared to others, and let's not forget that i'm also an artist and a game dev making things in that directions (aside from the fact I have other things to do in real life :T). I just wanted to share this small thought, and let it out of my mind. Thanks for reading :333

Hello, this post is part of a series i'm doing to help NG artists outstand a bit. I'm not scheduling these, so the next entry could be next week or next month, have at you.
Below are 5 artists selected by me, as some of the best artists in this platform, and some of their work so you can criticize them. These 5 are elected for this particular post, not meaning they are the bestest out there (maybe they are tho).
1 - StevSteelEn: Art Lover
Project submission average: 1 work every 4.7 days
Posts, blogs & reviews average: 0.67 posts per day
The classic Newgrounds chaotic energy, modernized!
@StevSteelEn isn't just a great artist, but also a rad fella. Many guys (including me) believe he deserves more attention for the quality of his art, specially considering he does most of these out of pure boredom.
He also has a variety of characters who involve in situations of all kinds. From the rad bunny Riley, to the terrifying cat Cassie. If you love dynamism, colorful palettes and some possible epic looking wallpapers, don't hesitate and give Stev the opportunity he deserves to shine.
2 - Whimsical-wife: Art Lover
Project submission average: 1 work every 6.22 days
Posts, blogs & reviews average: 1.34 posts per day
A little socially inept, but definitely artistically capable.
@whimsical-wife (or Kyia) is an energetic force of nature. A fanatic of pokemon, MLP, and some other things, as well as a lovely artist with a smooth lineless artstyle that oscillates between wholesomeness and creepiness whenever needed (tho you will find mostly wholesome things, I swear).
Kyia is also a cool person, and is very capable of giving ideas and help whenever she's needed, as shown in the Pokemon Mystery Meat Collab (she co-hosted it, in case u didn't know). I'd highly recommend looking at her profile if you're into cute looking artworks (or pokemon, which for the case is the same).
3 - Latadenata: Musician
Project submission average: 1 work every 14.9 days
Posts, blogs & reviews average: 0.37 posts per day
He's a musician wannabe (and I wannabe a musician like him)
I find very regularly that whenever @Latadenata uploads something, without knowing what i'm gonna hear, I know i'm gonna listen a story. Not only his music style is quite variated, as he seems aimed to experiment with things, but the music he makes tends to be very emotional, which helps to write some sort of fairy tale while listening to it.
Some of it's music is very energetic, while some other is very soothing. But the way I see it, all of his music is very magical, and can serve various purposes, like relaxing the mind, giving inspiration, fulfilling the OST of a game or a movie, and many other things, reason why I recommend you to hear his music.
4 - Serafin-corpse: Art Lover
Project submission average: 1 work every 4.99 days
Posts, blogs & reviews average: 0.36 posts per day
They wish you a nice day, so do I, ENJOY!!!
Not only as an artist, but as a person in general, I find magnificent the things that are done for pure and utter passion, even if that means going to weird territory. Because of that, I find the works of @Serafin-corpse as something inspiring and satisfactory.
I've seen their presence and activity be kinda "relax" in terms of submissions and posts, as it takes quite a time for they to publish something new. Honestly, if that wait means finding epic pieces like the ones above or the ones below, I don't mind waiting for a while.
5 - X-500: Blank slate
Project submission average: 1 work every 1.45 days
Posts, blogs & reviews average: 4.51 posts per day
Newgrounds is his home and his life, which makes him our brother, and brothers always help each other
Legends say @X-500, also known by various other names, like ZdiK, is a dedicated and passionate musician, who makes epic electronic music pieces, proper of pure gods and realms far beyond our comprehension.
Let's leave the poethic aura behind. X-500 music style envelopes a lot of energy, even if some of his musical pieces don't move that much or contain simpler instruments. This is the reason why I refer to it as "proper of pure gods" since somehow it manages to have a ethereal feeling to it sometimes. Speaking about ethereal feelings...
Is it finished? SURE IT IS!!!!
Thanks for spending your time reading this post, and if you know any artist you think deserves more recognizement, let me know in comments, so I consider them for future posts (you can even recommend yourself, and i'll make sure to visit your profile whenever I have time). Also remember, i'm not a critic, and this post is made for both fun and for giving visibility to other artists.
If you want to see all the posts so far, go to the playlist of recommended artists in my profile
Just finished with my duty, Emiliano out!

I'm finally on vacations, more specifically, two weeks of not-school. This is gonna be helpful, since I have way too many things to do (so I can at least filter a bit my schedule). I'm also gonna go to CDMX the next weekend for vacation, which is gonna be great so I can disconnect from social media, at least for a bit. I promise to take photos and share them when back :)

Last weeks have been quite busy, as you may have noticed due to my lack of interaction with the community (if you ever noticed to begin with). Let's make a small recap to see what's happening in the backstage:
Who's That Pokemeat?
I was the one who developed the "Who's that Pokemeat?" guessing game for the Pokemon Mystery Meat Collab. That was during the whole of February, which consumed most of my time.
Where's the Recommended Artists #4 post?
Every installment takes like a month for me to gather enough motivation to make it a reality. Well, it's already been more than a month, and it still ain't finished. This wouldn't bother me a lot if it weren't for the fact it has been in schedule earlier than the "Who's that Pokemeat?" game. Some other projects have kept me busy, but I should seriously make the next installment if I really plan to be this cautious with my work, speaking of which...
Earth Day Collab
Earth day falls this April 22nd, as well as the collab i'm hosting. Fortunately, I've already got me an idea of what to do to showcase the arts of everyone. My only downside is i'm gonna need original music for it, so, if u are a musician and are interested, PM me, and I shall be forever grateful with you (I don't have money :p).
Boring things...
Outside of everything else, I have to deal with school. I also happen to have troubles with my parents. Nothing serious, is more bothering for them than for me, but still, those kind of problems mean time I don't use for funnier things. Fortunately, vacations are at the corner, so in like a week more, I will have plenty of time to do whatever I want, like focusing more on the delayed projects.
The arts of the "One char per day challenge" have kept my account alive and active fortunately, that's why this unactivity doesn't have me stressed. I hope to be more organized in the future so I don't have to spend a whole month without showing nothing to people (or at least have a better capacity to improvise through my necessities).

Now that I have my imaginary virtual coffee with me, I hope nothing astounding makes me spit it in surprise while I check my Newgrounds feed... AY, WTH? WHAT'S THAT?!
eleven thousand seven hundred nine views. I knew one day I'd reach such levels of view in any of my works, but damn, that's way too early! I ain't even that famous yet!
*spits the coffee and recomposes*
Now, let's be clear. I know these numbers are because of the Collab, after all, murderous animals, dangerous parents and pokemons are a good combination (apparently). Boxanne hasn't reached 10% of that views numbers yet. I'm still gonna feel proud of myself, specially considering I wasn't originally be part of the collab, but they decided I deserved to be a part of it. I wonder if the Earth Day Collab will reach a similar kind of success (I doubt it but only time can tell).
